SpaSoft Announces HTNG Certification

SpaSoft with SMS|Diplomat certified
under the HTNG Certification Program

NEW HARTFORD, NY � MARCH 13, 2007 � PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS) a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) --- and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems --- is pleased to announce that SpaSoft 3.0 with SMS|Diplomat v2.3 is certified under the Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) Certification Program.
 
The Single Guest Itinerary is a component of the HTNG Property Web Services Workgroup 2007a Specification. Using the Single Guest Itinerary, a certified property management system can share guest-centric information via real-time bidirectional communication with an activity based system, such as SpaSoft 3.0. Put in practice, the interface is capable of notifying SpaSoft Users of system-wide reservation events such as reservation changes or cancellations. It links guest profiles and sends all types of activity posting charges seamlessly between the systems. All activities will then be displayed for the hotel guest in a single guest itinerary.

HTNG is a non-profit global organization formed in 2002 to facilitate the development of next-generation, customer-centric technologies to meet the needs of the global hotel community. A first for the industry, HTNG developed this Certification Program in association with The Open Group, one of the world�s leading practitioners of certification programs. The HTNG Certification Program enables vendors to certify their products against open HTNG specifications. Hotels can then determine which vendors have completed certification of their products against specific capabilities and the environments in which performance is certified.

SpaSoft 3.0 with SMS|Diplomat joins PAR Springer-Miller�s SMS|Host v16.0 with SMS|Diplomat v2.3 and DipHost v2.3 as two of the first five products to achieve HTNG Certification shortly after the release of the Workgroup specifications.
