The Historic Pacific Plaza Hotel in Downtown Seattle
Completes $5 million Renovation, Renamed
the Executive Hotel Pacific
Seattle, WA, March 1, 2007 – Executive Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of the Executive Hotel Pacific. Strategically positioned on the corner of 4th Avenue and Spring Street, this gem among Seattle boutique hotels offers an intimate and charming refuge blending west coast style and first class hospitality. Built in 1928 the Executive Hotel Pacific is located in the prestigious financial district of Seattle close to key business, retail and cultural centers. All major office buildings, museums, art galleries, stadiums, restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance. The architecturally renowned 200 million dollar Seattle Public Library is across the street and has become a “must” to visit.

The overall $5 million renovation has brought an impressive new aesthetic life to this property. The European charm of this 1928 boutique hotel has been retained while updating the physical systems, guestrooms, bathrooms and lobby. The 155 guestrooms have been designed in a Eurasian theme of rich cherry wood, leather accents and warm and inviting gold & green tones and all are non-smoking.  Rooms feature LCD flat screen panel televisions, pillow top mattresses and luxurious bedding with duvets and 5 pillows.

Additions to the property were made recognizing the needs of the discerning business and leisure traveler. Wireless Internet throughout including the upper lobby lounge, 24 hour business center, personalized voice mail, in room safes, cardio fitness center, valet parking and the addition of another boardroom, make this hotel the perfect choice when visiting Seattle.

Executive Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer, Salim Sayani stated, “With our new business amenities and strong location in the heart of Seattle’s business district we anticipate the opening of the property will impress our loyal guests and will attract considerable attention in the marketplace from corporate travelers”.

Located in the lobby of this boutique hotel is a Starbucks concept, Seattle’s Best Coffee serving a gourmet fare of coffee drinks, fresh deli sandwiches and hot breakfast items.

Jasmine Restaurant the exciting asian fusion restaurant, sushi bar and cocktail lounge is accessed off the lobby of the hotel. Offering a fusion of classic dishes from several countries including China, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan paired with expertly crafted exotic cocktails, Jasmine is an exciting addition to the Executive Hotel Experience.

“Our guests have already informed us that the new positioning of the hotel is exactly what they are looking for. We look forward to the coming months and the exciting future of the Executive Hotel Pacific” states Dan Spurgeon General Manager.
