Senior Vice President of Development & Finance
.
MCLEAN, Va., March 26, 2007 - Crestline Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of Edward Hoganson as Senior Vice President of Development & Finance. Hoganson rejoins Crestline from Sunrise Senior Living where he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions for the past two years. Prior to that Hoganson was Vice President of Acquisitions for Barcelo Crestline and then for Highland Hospitality Corporation (NYSE: HIH).

In his new position with Crestline, Hoganson will report directly to Tom Baker, EVP and Chief Investment Officer. He will oversee the company's assets, as well as lead the push to acquire new properties for management.

"Ed is a wonderful asset to the Crestline team and we are delighted to have him back within our organization," said Baker. "He was instrumental in the growth of our company from its merger with Barcelo Hotels & Resorts to the creation of Highland Hospitality Corporation, an independent REIT that was spun off from Barcelo Crestline. We know that his expertise and management experience will be a tremendous asset as our company continues its aggressive expansion," added Baker.

Hoganson has more than 15 years of financial and hospitality industry management experience. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche and then joined Marriott International where he held various finance positions during a six year period, prior to joining what was then Crestline Capital.

Hoganson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, a Masters of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Business from The Wharton School of Business. Mr. Hoganson can be reached at [email protected].
