Internet-based gift certificate program permitting ordering of gift certificates
from any location for any property in any currency, all simplified into
a quick entry on the Peninsula Hotels corporate web site. The ground-breaking
financial and technology program was created by Nirvana Technology, Inc.

The Peninsula Group also opted to have Nirvana Technology act as the merchant of record, securing the online transactions and freeing up The Peninsula back-office staff from any additional administrative overhead. With this choice, Nirvana accounts for all credit card payments for certificates each week with an automated report to each property together with a wire transfer of funds to foreign properties and an ACH (Automated clearing house) funds transfer to domestic properties, all as part of the smooth process from order through payment.
