Tour Operators to Gain Insights on Boosting
Profitability at Upcoming JDA - TUI Webinar

JDA partners with TUI in January 18 event to help operators maximize revenue

Scottsdale, Ariz. – January 16, 2007 – JDA® Software Group, Inc. announced today it will partner with European leisure travel group TUI UK to host an educational webinar for tour operators and other travel industry professionals to demonstrate the opportunity offered by Pricing and Revenue Management in the market for inclusive tours.  The one-hour webinar, titled, “The Revenue Management Roadmap for Tour Operators,” will be held January 18 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.  To register online, visit http://www.jda.com/Events.asp

TUI UK, part of European leisure travel giant TUI which has 3,300 travel agencies and 100 aircraft,  will co-present with JDA to examine the unique issues relating to Revenue Management in the Inclusive Tour business.  The Webinar will also outline practical ways operators can leverage technology tools for greater profitability by managing their prices at micro-market level.  JDA understands the unique forces within the tour market through its work providing large tour operators with its TRO (Tour Revenue Optimizer) revenue management system.

The Revenue Management Roadmap for Tour Operators webinar will feature co-presenters Aaron Sugarman, head of operational research for TUI UK; Dominic Beveridge, senior consultant for JDA Software Group and Pieter Dorhout, senior European travel consultant for JDA.  The team will discuss how TUI and JDA have partnered to deliver a complex and powerful solution to address the revenue management requirements of this unique industry, and the benefits that it delivers.
