Premier Resorts International, Inc. Acquires Ownership of Barefoot Resort Club LLC
in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Plans Underway for
Waterfront Plaza and Conference Center
.
PARK CITY, Utah (January 3, 2007) - Plans for a new waterfront plaza and conference center at Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, will now proceed thanks to an agreement announced earlier today.  Bradley T. Goulding and Barbara Zimonja, principals of Premier Resorts International, Inc., a large, condominium-resort management company based in Park City, Utah, have acquired sole ownership of both Barefoot Resort Club LLC, which owns the Barefoot Resort Yacht Club marina and Docksider's Grille at mile marker 354, and Premier Holdings of South Carolina LLC, which owns an adjacent 76 acres of land west of the Intracoastal Waterway at Barefoot Resort.

Barbara Zimonja, president of Premier Resorts said, "These acquisitions will now allow us to proceed with our original vision to develop the commercial, retail and restaurant components of this property along the Intracoastal Waterway at Barefoot Resort."

Zimonja continued, "We will also be able to improve the facilities at the Barefoot Resort Club and construct additional resort amenities that will cater to the needs of Premier Resorts' guests and Barefoot Resort homeowners."

Premier Resorts will continue to manage the Docksider's Grille restaurant as well as the 142-slip Barefoot Resort Yacht Club marina. The company will also continue as property manager and vacation rental agent for over 250 condominiums in the North Tower, Yacht Club Villas and Centex-developed neighborhoods at Barefoot Resort, and will continue to expand its rental inventory as additional facilities and amenities are completed.

Planned Construction at Barefoot Resort

Wim Pastoor, Premier Resorts' general manager at Barefoot Resort, added, "The first planned project will be the new waterfront plaza located adjacent to Docksider's Grille. The plaza will provide new function and meeting space, including a 5,000 sq. ft.  event tent, a catering kitchen and additional restrooms." Pastoor continued, "We have already begun the design work on the new plaza area and hope to complete the project in the spring."

The waterfront plaza and event tent will become the venue for the annual Barefoot Resort Boat Show, presented by Premier Resorts, May 11-13, 2007.

Premier Resorts also plans to break ground in 2007 for the new Lakeside Conference Facility, which will feature over 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The new conference facility will bring an important new corporate convention and meeting venue to North Myrtle Beach.

As its next project, the company is already planning what it calls the Barefoot Resort Town Centre.  By working closely with Barefoot residents, local architects and North Myrtle Beach city planners, the Town Centre is designed to provide new restaurants, convenience stores and retail shops that will serve the entire Barefoot Resort community. A completion date for the Town Centre has not yet been announced.
