WASHINGTON, DC – February 22, 2007 - The Travel Industry Association (TIA) announces the first annual TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Awards to recognize those special companies whose outstanding innovations in the areas of technology, e-commerce and distribution have transformed their business and had a broad impact across the travel industry. TIA will present the award at the forthcoming TravelCom Res-Expo Conference April 4-6, 2007, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
“We established this award to recognize the best the industry has to offer in the area of technology, e-commerce and distribution,” said Roger Dow, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Travel Industry Association. “Recipients of the first-ever TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Award will showcase the pinnacle of design, functionality, and technological achievement.”
Call for Entries
TIA invites companies from across the travel industry, both new and established, to submit their product and service innovations – or nominate the innovations of others – for consideration for one of two TravelCom Res-Expo Innovators Awards:

industry's leaders, achievers, influencers and buyers for the premier conference
