  Mark Wilson Adds Sales and Marketing Responsibilities
for the Chateau Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS . . . January 15, 2007 � Mark Wilson, Director of Marketing at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, at 300 Bourbon Street in New Orleans� French Quarter, has been appointed to manage marketing for the hotel�s sister property, the Chateau Sonesta, at 800 Iberville Street, also in the French Quarter. The announcement of Wilson�s new role was made today by Alfred I. Groos, Vice President and General Manager of the Royal Sonesta.

�We are pleased to announce the addition of Mark Wilson�s new responsibilities at the Chateau Sonesta,� said Groos. �The announcement is recognition of Mark�s experience in the New Orleans market and track record of success at the Royal Sonesta, which we are confident he will replicate at Sonesta�s sister property in the French Quarter.� 

About Mark Wilson

With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing, Wilson now oversees marketing for both of Sonesta�s luxury properties in the Crescent City. Wilson has served in his current position at the Royal Sonesta since 2002. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of Hotel Marketing and Sales at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, Biloxi, Mississippi, and before to that, he held executive positions at the Fairmont Hotel,. New Orleans, the Sheraton New Orleans, and the New Orleans Hilton Riverside & Towers. He started his career in hospitality sales with Hilton in San Francisco, and earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Denver. Currently, he also serves as President of the French Quarter Business Association in New Orleans.
