Aspen's Hotel Jerome Appoints Katherine Huske
as Director of Marketing and Sales
ASPEN, Colo. � February 23, 2007 � On the brink of a $45 million renovation, Hotel Jerome has tapped Katherine Huske as director of marketing and sales. Huske comes to Aspen�s crown jewel hotel with more than 20 years in the hospitality industry and a talent for innovative marketing and strategic sales.

�It is an honor to have the opportunity to work for a visionary hotelier like Steve Bartolin (CEO and president of the Broadmoor, the hotel�s sister property),� explains Huske. �I am delighted to be a part of the Hotel Jerome family at this integral time in history, as we prepare for the renovation in spring 2007 and look forward to the hotel�s flourishing future.�

Huske joins Hotel Jerome from Huske & Associates where she was president, supervising the development and success of her clients including: Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa, Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa, Tahoe Mountain Resort Lodging, Aspen Lodging Company and East West Resorts among others.  Previously, she held the titles of VP of marketing and sales for Classic Resorts and   director of marketing and sales for Kaanapali Beach Hotel in Maui, Hawaii. 

With a plethora of esteemed accolades and accomplishments, Huske has a proven track record for setting goals and achieving excellence.  She has been awarded over a dozen Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International Awards and several American Advertising Federation awards. She is past president of the Kaanapali Beach Resort Association, past chair of the Maui Visitors Bureau marketing and public relations committees and active in local community service programs. 

Huske resides in Carbondale, Colo. with her husband Brett Huske and their 17-year-old son.   She holds a bachelor�s degree in education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and has continued her education with MBA courses at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
