February 19, 2007 - Innisfree Hotels, Gulf Breeze, FL – Eli G. White, Jr. has been named Vice President of Marketing for Innisfree. He joins the company after a thirty-three year career in a variety of marketing and operating roles throughout the Southeast.

Mr. White most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Managing Director for the Seaway Group in Coral Gables, FL, parent company of the historic Biltmore Hotel. His hotel career which has spanned thirty-three years includes Hyatt Hotels, Lincoln Hotels and the Seaway Group where he has held positions as Director of Sales and Marketing, Regional Sales Director, General Manger, Managing Director and Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

During his seventeen years in South Florida, Mr. White served on the board of directors of two Condo/Hotel operations owned and managed by Seaway as Vice President and President over a twelve year period. He also served as General Manager of the Tutwiler Hotel in Birmingham, St. Petersburg Hilton & Towers and the Alexander All-Suite Condo Hotel in Miami Beach. His expertise includes marketing analysis of new project opportunities, pre-opening sales, budgeting/forecasting, revenue management and condominium/hotel management.

He has been active in many State Association organizations, Convention & Visitors Bureaus, World Trade Center Board of Directors in Miami, and various other meeting planner organizations throughout the Southeast. White studied Business Management at the University of Tennessee prior to serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy.

Innisfree has recently completed the $45 million Seawind Condominiums in Gulf Shores, AL and the seventeen story Tower at the Pensacola Beach Hilton Gulf Front will open in May of this year. Innisfree has numerous parcels of land in the development pipeline that will allow Innisfree to continue to expand throughout the Gulf Coast including the Innisfree Jet Center at Pensacola Regional Airport.
