"Due to its technology focus, age and the industry experts involved in planning, HITEC has gained a reputation as the once-a-year hospitality technology event," said Brenda Burke, the HITEC Advisory Council Chair and director of technology for Hilton Hotels Corp. HITEC also offers an exceptional education conference with presentations by experts representing all segments of the industry. In 2007 the Opening General Session will be presented by Jonathan Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels. Tisch will focus on topics from his two books, "The Power of We: Succeeding Through Partnerships" and his soon-to-be-released, "Chocolates on the Pillow Aren't Enough: Rethinking the Customer Experience." All attendees to the Opening General Session will receive a complimentary copy of Chocolates on the Pillow Aren't Enough.

The new Club Technology Pavilion will be a special area in the exhibit hall with hands-on displays of the latest in emerging club technology. The pavilion will feature club specific products.

Also, back by popular demand, is GUESTROOM 2010, a model guestroom featuring some of the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room. The exhibit debuted at HITEC 2006, and was also on display at the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show in New York this past November.

Exhibitor registration will open in March.
