Ron Wojcik Appointed General Manager
of the Hilton Austin Airport
Cleveland, Ohio, October 23, 2006 � Ron Wojcik has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Austin Airport, located in Austin, Texas.  Ron most recently served as the General Manager at the Boykin managed Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
 
Mr. Wojcik has been a member of the Boykin Management Company team for over five years, serving in a number of positions including as General Manager of the Embassy Suites Southfield, Assistant General Manager at the Knoxville Hilton, Director of Operations for French Lick Springs Resort & Spa, and Director of Operations at the Cleveland Airport Marriott.   
 
After serving in the United States Army in Europe, Ron began classical culinary training in the hospitality industry. Ron continued his interest and training, holding a number of food and beverage and hotel management positions in Europe for almost a decade.  He has also worked for the Marriott Corporation for over nine years and with Hilton Hotels for five years.  Mr. Wojcik has attended workshops in revenue management training, team building, and criticism and discipline skills for managers. He attended Delta College in Michigan, with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing.  
 
About the Hotel:

The 262-room Hilton Austin Airport Hotel, owned by Austin Bergstrom Landhost Enterprises and the City of Austin, opened in early 2001.  The building originally operated as the headquarters for Bergstrom Air Force Base.  The hotel was the recipient of the Texas Construction Magazine Best of 2001 award in the category of Outstanding Renovation/Restoration project.  The hotel has all the amenities of a full service hotel including an outdoor pool, state of the art fitness facility, two jogging and walking trails, a 24 hour business center, gift shop, and The Creeks casual dining room.  The guest rooms feature an array of amenities designed for the business traveler such as; ergonomic work stations, high-speed Internet access, and telephones equipped with two lines and speakerphone.
