Sunburst Hospitality Opens the Atrium Court Hotel
in Rockville, Maryland
Rockville, Maryland - October 23, 2006 The Atrium Court Hotel, an upscale urban retreat in the Clarion Collection, located in a vibrant district of Rockville, Maryland, will celebrate its Grand Opening this week with the theme Its All About You Meeting Us! The hotel will open its doors to the community by hosting a luxurious after-hours event on Thursday, October 26th in conjunction with the GGCC, Rockville CC, Montgomery County CC and CVB. The Atrium Courts Grand Opening celebration will feature top-flight light fare from the propertys Chef, Michael King, showcasing his versatile kitchen.

We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to share the splendid experience which the upscale Atrium Court provides, with our community and clients through this celebration, said Kevin Hanley, President of Sunburst Hospitality which owns and operates the Atrium Court Hotel. Mr. Hanley, who conceived of and developed the hotel, exudes pride in the finished product and the hotels highly trained hospitable staff.

As we celebrate the successful opening and operation of the hotel, the Atrium Court is as we initially planed. The hotel is a stylish first-class property which delivers a unique experience through personalized service, four-star food and accommodations, said Mr. Hanley.
Since the Atrium Court (formerly the Quality Suites Shady Grove) opened its doors in July of this year, discriminating travelers who appreciate high-end comforts coupled with attractive rates have been delighted with the hotels accommodations, meeting space, retreat-like atmosphere and the excellence of its dining.

Those who attend the Atrium Courts Grand Opening celebration on Thursday will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the hotels mission, that Its all About You.

Each member of our staff takes great pleasure in delivering customer-centered experiences to everyone who steps through the doors of the Atrium Court Hotel, says Jason Curtis, General Manager of the Atrium Court Hotel.

As a result, the Atrium Court experience has inspired rave reviews from overnight guests as well as those who have come to attend or organize weddings, corporate events and social celebrations, shares Mr. Curtis with genuine pride.

We trust that those who attend the event will be comfortable as they are in their own, or their friends homes, says Mr. Curtis.  Our staff is trained not only to be responsive, but to also anticipate the needs of each and every guest we serve.

The Atrium Court Hotels premier location, combined with its highly attractive rate for an upscale property has drawn significant attention from meeting planners, business and leisure travelers.

Attendees of the celebration will discover that the unique property is defined by stylish spacious rooms which surround a beautiful garden domed with a soaring skylight atrium. The hotels craftsman-like detail, rich colors, hand-selected artwork and intimate seating groups in the lobby envelope visitors with comfort and a sense of luxurious ease. Guest rooms invite rest and rejuvenation with plush bedding, triple sheeting, sleek luxury with home-like bathrooms and premium amenities. Each rooms signature live bamboo plants invite well-being.
Mr. Curtis, assisted by the Atrium Courts staff, will extend the hotels celebration and property tours for the community after Thursdays signature event through personalized, upon-request Chefs luncheons and tours.

Tours and luncheons can be arranged through the hotels sales team and provide experiential enjoyment of the chic-style, 100-percent non-smoking property. Visitors will tour and enjoy the propertys café and cocktail lounge, meeting space, spacious exercise and yoga facilities, seasonal outdoor pool and sun deck. Business travelers and meeting planners will note the hotels complimentary option of both wired and Wi-Fi Internet access in the guest rooms, full-service business center and more than 12,000 square feet of meeting space which accommodates up to 550 people.
