AUSTIN, TEXAS; October 12, 2006 - Hospitality Financial
and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has brought together an international
group of hospitality technology experts to compose its Advisory Council
for its first European Hospitality Technology Education Conference (EHTEC).
The council, consisting of European, Middle Eastern and U.S. hospitality
technology professionals, consultants and educators, will help design the
agenda for the two-day conference. EHTEC, February 19-20 at the Hilton
Amsterdam in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is intended to be an intimate gathering
of the EU's top hospitality professionals, including delegates representing
hotel companies, clubs, resort properties, casinos and other hospitality-related
businesses. Attendees will discuss the most pressing challenges facing
hospitality technology in Europe.
"HFTP has increased its European presence over the past year, starting with the establishment of its European office," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, HFTP executive vice president and CEO.
