has announced the appointment of Tade Allen as director of sales for The
Founders Inn, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ellen Ruane-Johnson,
general manager, made the announcement.
"It gives me great pleasure to announce the promotion of Tade to the position of director of sales," said Ms. Ruane-Johnson. "She is a superb sales professional who continually exceeds her goals. She is also a terrific leader and mentor to her sales team." Ms. Allen was previously senior sales manager for The Founders Inn & Spa. A remarkably talented sales executive, she has been recognized for extraordinary achievement throughout her career, and has been appointed to Benchmark's prestigious Platinum Club for consistency in superior sales performance. She achieved "Star Status" three times within the Benchmark sales organization. In 2003, Ms. Allen was awarded Benchmark Hospitality International's highest national sales award, "Sales Executive of the Year." Previous to joining Benchmark at The Founders Inn & Spa, Ms. Allen was employed by the Radisson Hotel Tampa and the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida. Tade Allen attended The University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Virginia Beach with her family.
