Corporation (HMC) recently announced that Sal Mendoza has accepted the
general manager position at the Regency Hotel and Conference Center.
Mendoza has been an HMC manager for over 17 years, having held F&B Director positions at several properties, most recently at the Radisson Hotel DFW South and the Holiday Inn Select Dallas Love Field. His 27 years experience in the hospitality industry includes executive management positions at hotels, resorts, and conference centers in Kansas and Texas.
Leo Spriggs, HMC’s President and CEO, says of Mendoza, “Sal has been a dedicated and conscientious manager for HMC for over 17 years, and we were delighted to be able to place him in this position. Although it is his first endeavor as general manager, we feel he will rise to the challenge with his usual enthusiasm and perseverance.”
The Regency Hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn Select Northeast Dallas, is a full-service hotel with 244 guest rooms and over 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. The hotel offers guests dining and entertainment options at its Terrace Grille Restaurant and Safari Lounge. The property also offers free high-speed internet access, a business center, an outdoor pool, fitness center, sauna and steam room, and billiards.
