SALT
LAKE CITY, Utah - (Nov. 7, 2006) Based upon feedback and demand from
its hotel customers, iBAHN is launching the iBAHN Airline PC, a limited
purpose version of its industry leading Lobby PC, which is currently installed
in more than 1,000 hotels worldwide.
iBAHN Airline PC is a dedicated computer designed to easily print boarding passes in the hotel lobby before heading to the airport. The unit provides free access to all major airline websites, enabling travelers to quickly stop and print out their boarding passes. Hotels have clearly indicated they want to provide free boarding pass printing services to their guests, and we are delighted to be able to deliver a solution to their needs, said Wendy S. Kelley, iBAHNs vice president of marketing. iBAHN Airline PC is a single purpose unit designed to help hotels deliver a high-value service with the least amount of difficulty. iBAHN is also enabling the Airline button feature in its existing Lobby PC offerings, and has rolled out this function to existing customers who have requested it. Hotels should have the option of providing services in any format they
choose, so we have also enabled the airline boarding pass functionality
on our existing full service Lobby PCs. Any Lobby PC connected to
a printer can be configured to provide this free service, said Machiel
Klerk, product manager for iBAHN.
iBAHN Airline PC provides users a clean PC since the computer system clears all session information (cookies, passwords, site history, etc.) between users. In addition, the unit ensures the confidentiality of guest information through enterprise-grade security features. The Airline PC can work with any Internet provider, and can be used in hotels that do not currently use iBAHN as a service provider. About iBAHN
