DUNEDIN, FLA.—December 11, 2006—Mintek Mobile Data Solutions, the lodging industry’s leading provider of automated solutions for preventive maintenance and asset management, has named Ty Abrahams director of marketing. Abrahams will help Mintek’s management and sales team identify new markets, assist with select accounts and manage the company’s overall marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Mintek, Ty worked in a high-profile leadership position for Conexco Communications, a deployment company focusing on residential and commercial broadband subscriber-end technology.  In his role with Conexco, Ty managed and directed all company operations including sales, marketing, operations, finance and human resources.
