OAHU, HAWAII — December 7, 2006 - Steve Winter, vice president of operations
for Outrigger’s Condominium Collection is pleased to announce the assignment
of Scott Dougherty as General Manager of the Outrigger Maui Eldorado, a
resort condominium located within Maui’s Kaanapali Beach Resort.
In his new position, Dougherty is responsible for the day-to-day operation
of the property overseeing all departments including housekeeping, maintenance,
and front office. Owner relations is also a key component of his
job, in addition to being Outrigger’s representative with the property’s
Association of Apartment Owners.
Scott Dougherty has over ten years of hotel and condominium management experience having held management positions at various hotels and resorts including Aston Kaanapali Shores, Aston Paki Maui and Waimea Plantation Cottages. Prior to joining Outrigger, Dougherty worked as Rooms Division Manager for ResortQuest at Papakea where he was responsible for managing internal costs for housekeeping, reservations, front office and maintenance, overseeing renovations for all units, and acting as a liaison with all vendors on owner’s behalf. In addition to his hospitality industry expertise, Dougherty also has extensive restaurant experience. Dougherty attended Santa Barbara City College.
The Outrigger Maui Eldorado offers its guests a quiet setting along the gentle slopes of the Kaanapali Beach Resort’s North Golf Course. Garden and ocean views can be enjoyed from the resort’s studio, one and two bedroom units. There are three swimming pools on property, or a quick stroll along the fairways will lead guests to the nearby beach and the resort's private beachside cabana.
