Pacifica Hotel Company Opens the the 130-room Hilton Garden Inn
at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie hotel in Florida
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Hilton Garden Inn® (NYSE:HLT) has announced the opening of the 130-room Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie hotel in Florida designed and built to mirror Floridas classic Palm Beach style landscaped with lush, tropical plants and close to the beach.

The Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie is operated by PSL Hotel Investors, LLC under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation. The hotel is owned by Pacifica Hotel Company and its partners PGA Golf Properties and Ken Lowe.

We look forward to opening our newest hotel located in Port St. Lucie right next to the PGA Village, said Adrian Kurre, senior vice president brand management, Hilton Garden Inn. With amenities like complimentary high speed Internet access to help travelers be productive and the Garden Sleep System bed to promote a more restful nights sleep, we hope our Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie location will be a preferred hotel choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting the area.

The three-story Hilton Garden Inn PGA Village/Port St. Lucie features a bridge on the second floor that overlooks the Pavilion lobby and connects to guestrooms. Guests are surrounded by wood coffered ceilings, chandeliers, heavy crown molding and soft beige and white tones that are accentuated throughout the hotel in its carpets, upholstery and walls. The lobby furniture is graciously topped with COACH lamps highlighting the subtle tonal qualities of its twenty-five foot high ceilings and decorative pedestals placed throughout the lobby area. The hotel also features the Pavilion Pantry® offering microwaveable food, snacks and sundries, a 24-hour complimentary business center, swimming pool and whirlpool and guest laundry facility.

What makes this Hilton Garden Inn unique is its location on the Treasure Coast complemented by exterior and interior design elements influenced by Floridas classic Palm Beach architectural themes and our partnership with PGA Golf Properties. This is our first hotel in Florida and we are looking forward to providing guests with the ultimate accommodations and service to enhance their leisure, business or golf experience in the Port St. Lucie area, says Michael A. Barnard, Jr., president of Pacifica Hotel Company.

Once outside, guests can sit in a covered outdoor terrace area which leads to a free form pool and spa area that is accentuated by columns and trellises that are complemented by lush landscaping. There is also a workout facility with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment as well as Stay Fit Kits® that are available for complimentary check-out at the front desk so guests have a choice of working out in the privacy of their room, pool or spa area.

In keeping with the spirit of golf, guests can feast on fine food at Sam Snead's Oak Grill & Tavern while enjoying its rich wood decor and memorabilia collected by Sam himself as he made his way into golf history. Diners can choose from a wide selection of foods grilled with locally cured-oak, which creates the most unique flavors that complements any Certified Angus aged beef, seafood, chops, ribs or chicken dish. This is the first Sam Sneads Oak Grill & Tavern in a Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and we are thrilled that we will be able to serve our fine food to its guests as well as local residents in the Port St. Lucie area, says Steve Gunter, Co-Owner of Sam Sneads Oak Grill & Tavern. For those who think that golf is the only way to spend their time, guests at the Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village/Port St. Lucie will enjoy the benefits of its partnership with PGA Golf Properties. In October 2006, the PGA Golf Club launched the first phase of a multi-million dollar capital improvement program that will enhance all elements of the facility featuring two courses designed by Tom Fazio called Wanamaker and Ryder; and the another course to be designed by Pete Dye. (The Dye Course improvement program begins in 2007.)

The re-grassing and bunker restoration work will provide both golf courses with the finest state-of-the-art playing conditions possible, said Tom Fazio. All three courses carry Audubon International Signature status for its compliance with environmental standards.
