They worked long hours to ensure the hotel would open on time and also kept a positive attitude with the Hotel guests. The award for Best Opening/Conversion goes to Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Airport, Jacksonville, Fl. Kimberly Tomlinson, General Manager accepted the award.

Best Overall Staff There are many warm, friendly smiles and positive attitudes at this hotel where all team members make you feel welcome. All employees of this hotel have the willingness to jump in and assist other team members to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience. This years award for Best Overall Staff goes to Wingate Inn Jacksonville Airport, Jacksonville, Fl. Brandi Million, General Manager,  accepted the award.

Newcomer of the Year This General Manager was very enthusiastic while training in his new position. He ensured that his hotel followed all Elite policies and procedures while maintaining a very positive attitude. This was all accomplished while working with a limited staff and having to cover several shifts at the front desk. His outgoing personality, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn place him above the best. The award for Newcomer of the Year went to Glenn Lipsett, General Manager, Quality Inn Historic, St. Augustine, Fl.

Best REVPAR This hotel is currently running an average rate of $120.72, occupancy of 86.63%, which generated a 104.58 REVPAR through the end of November. This years award for Best REVPAR goes to Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach, Fl.  Brian Ross, General Manager accepted the award.

Most Revenue Over Budget With the hotels Sales Department generating new business and the Front Desk wowing the customers, this hotel not only surpassed last years revenue but met this years budget through the month of November, and it is currently $194,005 over last year and $437,755 over budget. This years award for Most Revenue over Budget goes to the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Airport, Jacksonville, Fl. Maureen Meier, General Manager accepted the award.

Hotel of the Year This property continues to have great curb appeal, terrific employees, and of course great leadership.  This leader has increased REVPAR by 7% over last year, and is currently $204,315 over budget through the end of November. The guest satisfaction scores were increased by 20% over last year and they reduced guest complaints by 6%. This hotel just recently passed their 2nd Quality Assurance inspection for the year with an overall score of 98.22%. All of these ingredients made Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine Beach this years Hotel of the Year, Efrain Silva, General Manager accepted the award.

General Manager of the Year We look at the propertys Quality Assurance scores, the amount of turnover in staff, their ability to control Labor & Overtime, and is conscious of meeting corporate deadlines. It is evident to me that this General Manager is a great team builder and takes great pride in his property. This years General Manager of the Year for 2006 is Mohamad El-Hoss from the Wingate Inn Windsor Parke Jacksonville, Fl.
