Caribbean for One&Only Resorts and Managing Director, One&Only Palmilla Los Cabos, Mexico - September 28, 2006 - Kerzner International is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Edward Steiner as Senior Vice President, Latin America and the Caribbean for One&Only Resorts and Managing Director, One&Only Palmilla. He is internationally recognized as one of the industry�s most distinguished hoteliers and is known for his hands-on management approach, with more than 20 years of experience. Mr. Steiner will begin his new assignment this month. In this capacity, Steiner will continue to be responsible for the overall operation of One&Only Palmilla, and his regional operational responsibilities have been expanded to include all of Latin America and the Caribbean, including overall responsibility for the One&Only Ocean Club in the Bahamas. Edward Steiner joined Kerzner International in May 2003, as Regional VP Mexico and Managing Director of One&Only Palmilla and worked diligently with the pre-opening team to position One&Only Palmilla as one of the finest resorts in the world. Under Mr. Steiner�s direction, One&Only Palmilla received numerous accolades and awards from top publications worldwide, including Conde Nast Traveler, Robb Report and Travel+Leisure. One&Only Palmilla was selected as the number one resort in all of Latin America in Conde Nast Traveler�s 2004 annual Reader�s Choice Awards, in less than nine months after the resort debuted and again in 2005. Most recently the resort was on Robb Report�s �100 Best Places To Stay in 2006,� the 2006 Conde Nast Traveler annual Readers Choice Gold List and Travel + Leisure�s 2006 annual �World�s Best Hotels,� and has consistently ranked as a premier travel destination in the luxury resort world. Steiner has also been internationally recognized for his leadership.
