- (September 11, 2006) � Hotel Crescent Court, A Rosewood Hotel announces
the appointment of Adrian Norbury to director of marketing. Norbury will
oversee the hotel�s marketing, sales, catering, conference services and
reservations departments. He has more than 20 years of hotel management
experience, including 18 years of experience in the United Kingdom. Norbury
most recently held the position of director of sales for Hotel Crescent
Court and The Mansion on Turtle Creek, A Rosewood Hotel.
Norbury joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in 2002 as regional director of sales. Based in London, he was responsible for sales efforts in the U.K. market before relocating to Texas to assume the role of director of sales for Rosewood�s two Dallas hotels. Prior to joining Rosewood, Norbury worked as the U.K. sales director for Jarvis Hotels, a U.K. hotel chain with more than 60 properties. During his 18-year tenure at Jarvis, he served in a variety of roles, from sales to hotel operations. He worked for several Jarvis hotels before moving to the corporate office to focus on sales. �Adrian�s talent in revenue management and his business vision make him an ideal fit for this position,� said Linda Wan, managing director for Hotel Crescent Court. �He has done an exceptional job for the company, and his experience and knowledge are critical assets as we strategically position the hotel.� Norbury has received many professional accolades throughout his career. He has been recognized as Leader of the Year at The Mansion on Turtle Creek. In the United Kingdom he was recognized with several awards, including a National Sales Award, which is awarded to top sales executives across all industries. Originally from Royal Leamington Spa, England, Norbury received a diploma in hotel management from the Hotel and Catering International Management Association at the Henley College of Further Education in Coventry, England.
