July 6, 2006 - WAIKIKI BEACH, Hawaii � Aqua Hotels & Resorts announced
several appointments to fill new sales and general manager positions.
Henry Perez replaces Harlow as General Manager for the Aqua Palms & Spa. Perez comes to Aqua with more than 20 years of hospitality experience in Florida, California and Hawaii. Most recently, he was hotel manager for the 600-room Outrigger Guam Resort (Tumon Bay, Guam). Perez has also served as executive vice president/chief operating officer and general manager of the Lawai Beach Resort (Kauai) and has held the position of general manager for Embassy Suites Resort (Kaanapali) and Crown Sterling Suites (Orange County, California and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida). Evelyn Shiroma joined the Ocean Tower Hotel at Waikiki Beach in February as Sales and Revenue Manager. Prior to joining Aqua, she was Executive Housekeeper for the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Hotel. Shiroma has also held management positions at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa, Outrigger Waikiki Hotel and Bally�s Hotel and Casino Resort (Las Vegas). She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University.
