Woodlands (Houston), Texas, July 6, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has announced the promotion of Danny Watts to director of operations for
Stonewall Resort, the Four Diamond property located in Weston, West Virginia.
Ken Jesina, general manager for the resort, made the announcement.
"I am so pleased to announce the promotion of Danny Watts," said Mr. Jesina. "With tremendous drive and great attention to detail, he has been instrumental in the success of Stonewall Resort since opening. This is truly a well deserved promotion for him." Mr. Watts was previously director of rooms and revenue manager for Stonewall Resort, positions he held with great skill and exemplary performance. Prior to this he served as Stonewall Resort's front office manager. Watts originally joined Stonewall Resort in 2002 as one of the first professionals hired by Benchmark Hospitality while the resort was preparing to open. Prior to joining Benchmark, Mr. Watts held the position of restaurant manager and wine consultant for Meriwether's Market Restaurant of Lynchburg, Virginia. He served previously as wine sales representative for Sims Wholesale and general manager of Crown Sterling's Niblick Division.
