 Don Cummings Joins Mohegan Sun�s Hotel Sales and
Marketing Team as National Sales Manager

Uncasville, CT (July 24, 2006) � On the heels of Mohegan Sun�s expansion of its hotel sales and marketing team, the legendary entertainment and meeting destination has appointed yet another industry veteran to reinforce the strength of its new sales force.   Don Cummings has been hired as national sales manager overseeing sales activity in the Midwest association and corporate group segments. 
 
�Don has forged impressive relationships with his customers during his tenure in this industry,� said Christopher R. Perry, vice president, hotel sales & marketing at Mohegan Sun.  �These valued relationships, in combination with his experience, leadership and motivational abilities make him the ideal candidate for this position.�  
 
Prior to joining Mohegan Sun, Cummings most recently worked as the director of national accounts for Marriott Hotels� flagship property, The New York Marriott Marquis.  Previously, he held the position of assistant director of meeting and convention services for the Hilton New York for seven years and was the director of convention services for the famed Waldorf-Astoria for nine years.
