Wendy Ramirez Named National Sales Manager at the
San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau

August 15, 2006 - Wendy Ramirez has been named National Sales Manager at the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB).
Ramirez will handle non-convention center corporate and association accounts in the Northeastern and Southeastern regions and internationally. She comes to the SFCVB after several years in group sales positions with Omni San Francisco Hotel, Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Kimpton Hotel Group. 

"We are excited to have the talent and experience that Wendy will bring to our sales team, complimenting our efforts to bring meetings, tradeshows and conventions to San Francisco," said Lysa Lewin, director of convention sales for the SFCVB.

The San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to market the City as a leisure, convention and business travel destination. With more than 2,000 members, the SFCVB is the largest membership-based tourism promotion agency in the country. Tourism, San Francisco's largest revenue-generating industry, generates in excess of $7.3 billion annually for the local economy.
