 HSMAI's 7th Travel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference

MCLEAN, VA (Aug. 14, 2006) – Leading industry experts will gather to discuss the hottest issues and trends in Internet marketing when the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) holds its 7th Travel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference on Dec. 6, 2006 at the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, FL.
 
Held in conjunction with HEDNA, the full-day program of keynote addresses, general sessions and roundtable debates will include a wide range of topics from search marketing, metrics, blogs and RSS feeds, to legal issues, best practices and more.

A unique, full-day event, the conference is targeted to individuals who are in corporate and regional positions dedicated to Internet marketing, and for those who want to learn more about this evolving medium.  The agenda will run from 8:30am to 4:45pm and will conclude with a networking reception until 6pm. 
 
Aside from two general sessions and keynote addresses, the program features a networking lunch which will include five roundtable discussions, followed by recaps presented by facilitators on the following topics:

  2. Resorts – Internet Marketing Best Practices
  3. Search Marketing/PPC
  4. Destination Internet Marketing Challenges
  5. Group Booking Online
Additionally, there will be reports on important industry news from 2006 and new projects on the horizon, including studies on a new HSMAI iPerceptions Report, a TIA/HSMAI Metrics Feasibility Study, as well as news from IH&RA and HEDNA.
 
When reserved by Nov. 6, 2006, the cost to attend the Travel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference is $250 for HSMAI and HEDNA members and $405 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership in HSMAI.  After Nov. 6, 2006 the rate is $300 and $455 respectively; the HSMAI student rate is $125.
