Dora Brothers Hospitality Building a Hotel Indigo
in Downtown Columbus, Indiana

.

ATLANTA (Aug. 28, 2006) InterContinental Hotels Group [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)] (IHG), the worlds largest hotel group by number of rooms, announced today plans for its first Hotel Indigo® in Columbus, Ind., (USA) scheduled to break ground this quarter and open by fourth quarter of 2007. The Hotel Indigo Columbus will also represent downtowns first hotel.

The new, four-story branded boutique property will be owned by Vision Hotel Partners, LLC and managed by Dora Brothers Hospitality, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. It is also one of two Hotel Indigo properties under development by Dora Brothers Hospitality. The second property is located in Fishers, Ind., and scheduled to open summer 2007.

As hotel developers, we saw a unique opportunity with InterContinental Hotels Group and the Hotel Indigo brand, said Tim Dora, partner, Dora Brothers Hospitality. When first introduced to the concept we believed it would be an excellent addition to Columbus because of its great architectural history and community focus. As the first hotel in the downtown Columbus neighborhood we look forward to becoming a centerpiece of the community we will serve, he added.

Hotel Indigo Columbus will be located at 400 Brown St., just two miles from I-65 and next door to the citys renowned Cummins Engine Co. The hotel site is in the heart of downtown Columbus, just minutes from shopping and attractions such as architectural tours and Mill Race Park & People Trail. Columbus has earned worldwide recognition for its modern architecture. It is ranked sixth nationally for architectural innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects. The list of other cities includes Chicago, New York, Boston, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. In addition, most of downtown Columbus is listed with the National Register of Historic Places.

The addition of Hotel Indigo will be a perfect complement to downtown Columbus. The hotel is located in a trend-forward area that is part of a major revitalization project, said Jim Anhut, senior vice president, Brand Development, the Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group. Weve designed Hotel Indigo for travelers who are looking for a unique hotel experience. In an area that strives to become one of Indianas most unique destinations we know this hotel will both inspire and intrigue business and leisure travelers.

The soul of Hotel Indigos retail-inspired concept is renewal thoughtful changes that are made throughout the year to keep the hotel fresh, similar to the way retailers change their window displays. Hotel Indigo Columbus will house 85 guestrooms that will feature renewable elements such as vivid murals, area rugs, plush duvets and slip covers that will change periodically. Public spaces will be transformed seasonally through changing artwork, music, flora, murals and directional signage.

The Hotel Indigo Columbus will also feature signature design elements including oversized lobby chairs, which create a personal work or dining space within the public areas of the hotel; cozy, airy and inviting guestrooms with plush bedding, hardwood-style flooring and spa-style showers; a phitness studio with cardio equipment and free weights. Unique to the property will be a nautilus-shaped indoor whirlpool, the brands distinctive symbol of renewal. The hotel will also offer a large meeting room that seats up to 120 guests, as well as a boardroom for smaller meetings. Complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotels bistro-style restaurant, will offer seasonal, health-conscious fare and Starbucks coffee. The evening menu will include fresh salads, pizzettas, Panini sandwiches, and other trend forward entrees. Food will be prepared quickly for the time-conscious traveler who wishes to eat in their room or relax in one of the hotels signature oversized lobby chairs. At PHI Bar, a fundamental departure from the norm, guests can enjoy their favorite beverage in casual elegance.

We are thrilled to be downtown Columbus first hotel, said Cindy Waddle, hotel general manager. And, we are looking forward to greeting our first guests and wowing them with our guest-first service culture and phenomenal design.

The Hotel Indigo brand is quickly expanding throughout North America, with four locations open and nearly 20 in the pipeline. The first Hotel Indigo opened in Atlanta in October 2004, followed by Hotel Indigo Chicago Gold Coast, Chicago Schaumburg North and Houston. Future sites of Hotel Indigo hotels include Dallas, Texas; Ottawa, Canada; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn., and Sarasota, Fla.
