Plans to Invest $4 million to Renovate and Re-brand the Property |
GREENVILLE,
SC - The Stirling Suites, Ft. Lauderdale Airport has been purchased by
JHM Hotels, of Greenville, SC. With 168 suites and a highly visible
location next to I-95, the hotel is positioned to meet the needs of both
business and leisure travelers who want to be located close to the airport,
Port Everglades, downtown Fort Lauderdale, as well as Dania/Hollywood Beach.
JHM Hotels plans to invest over $4 million to renovate and re-brand the
property as an upscale, all-suites hotel.
Commenting on the announcement, Hasmukh P. (H.P.) Rama, Chairman and CEO of JHM Hotels said, �The Ft. Lauderdale lodging market, as a whole, is one of the strongest in the nation. The hotel is located in the center of the vibrant South Florida market, midway between Palm Beach and Miami. There is a relative lack of inventory in the airport sub-market due to a lack of available sites.� The hotel is located at 151 SW 18th Court Dania, Florida.
