Hampton Inn - Hilton Head, South Carolina
.

HILTON HEAD, SC (May 12, 2006) Sivica Hospitality (SH) held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony recently for the 115-room Hampton Inn-Hilton Head, One Dillon Road, Hilton Head, SC  to celebrate the completion of the propertys complete re-do.

The hotel added seven suites, renovated the hotels public areas and meeting space, and added amenities including an elevator, Business Center, expanded Guest Laundry facilities and a lobby Suite Shop (convenience store).  Linda Thornley, experienced hotel professional and long-time area resident, serves as the General Manager.  The hotel is currently seeking an Operations Manager.

Guests in the Hilton Head area of coastal South Carolina request suites for both business and leisure, said Fred Cerrone, President of SH.  Weve updated the hotels floor plan to include seven spacious suites and weve installed a much-needed elevator.  Were proud to offer guests our outstanding customer service that has won numerous industry awards.

Sivica Hospitality bought the hotel in May 2005 and began renovations in the fall.

In response to recent market demand from both business and leisure travelers, Sivica added suites, including specially designed Family Suites.   Themed to reflect the low country lifestyle and geared toward those traveling with children, each Family Suite  includes two bathrooms and two separate sleeping areas, one with a king bed and one with twin beds. Each Family Suite also features new technical amenities such as a DVD player and a Playstation plus a foosball table for added enjoyment.

The hotel now offers two meeting rooms that can be arranged in a variety of configurations to accommodate any need.   Each room is outfitted with hardwired Internet access and has conference call capabilities.

The additions will meet a definite need in the market, said GM Linda Thornley.  Expanded amenities include two-line phones with hard wired high-speed Internet access, 32 televisions, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards and hair dryers. All rooms now include microwaves and refrigerators.  We also expanded our king room selection to include standard rooms, studios which include a couch, and king suites which are one bedroom and a bath and a half.  In addition to the new business centers, hotel renovations include new carpet and wall coverings in all public areas and guest rooms.

The hotels amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, facsimile, copy and Notary services on site, free local expanded area phone calls and 72-channel cable TV.  A complimentary deluxe hot breakfast is available each morning in the lobby breakfast room.

Hampton Inn participates in Hilton HHonors, a program that enables members to earn both hotel points and airline miles which can be redeemed for free stays at Hilton lodging properties worldwide.
