 Eight Canadian Radisson Hotels Receive the President�s Award

Two hotels also receive Advocate Award for customer satisfaction

TORONTO, On -- (May 23, 2006) ---Radisson Hotels & Resorts announced that eight Canadian Radisson hotels have received the prestigious President�s Award, given to its top-performing hotels and resorts based on performance in 2005. The hotels were among 68 best properties selected from the more than 260 Radisson hotels in The Americas, Asia Pacific and a portion of the United Kingdom.  In addition, two Canadian Radisson hotels were among the 18 recipients of the Advocate Award, given for highest customer satisfaction. 

"The President�s Award represents the best of the best for Radisson and recognizes the hotels that have demonstrated their exceptional commitment to guest service and product quality, characteristics that distinguish Radisson in the global marketplace," explained Nancy Johnson, executive vice president and brand leader for Radisson Hotels & Resorts.  "These hotels utilized their industry expertise and fully leveraged the company�s revenue generating tools and information to excel in a challenging business environment with changing customer expectations,� she added.  �They also provide a great place for employees to do great work.  These hotels are brand champions for Radisson and will help us achieve our goal to become the brand of choice for frequent travellers seeking an upscale hotel experience,� Johnson explained.  The President�s award has become the symbol of outstanding quality for Radisson Hotels & Resorts.

"The Advocate Awards is presented to those of our hotels from around the globe that have helped create extremely loyal guests for their hotel and the Radisson brand," said Johnson. "These hotels are not only measured by their year over year performance in creating guest advocates, based on guest comment cards, but also on their demonstrated commitment to guest satisfaction and the hotel's success in continuing to decrease guest complaints, as measured by our customer service department," she said. "These hotels have shown that when we focus on the guest, we are rewarded with greater guest loyalty and ultimately greater profitability."

The winners of the President�s Award and the Advocate Award were also chosen based on their alignment and contribution toward the brand's guest-focused mission.  The new vision states that Radisson is to be a global hotel company distinguished by:  great places in great places, a recognized and trusted brand, building valuable relationships with the guests it serves and achieving superior returns for owners and investors.
