The
Woodlands (Houston), Texas, May 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has formally announced the appointment of Nicole Ferrer as director of
sales & marketing for the 86-guestroom Danfords on the Sound, located
in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York. Stewart Weiner, general manager,
made the announcement. This represents a reappointment for Ms. Ferrer,
who for four years held the same role at the property when it was under
previous management.
"Nicole is a first-rate hospitality professional and has done a superb job in her role as director of sales & marketing," stated Mr. Weiner. "This reappointment is well deserved and I'm thrilled she is part of our executive team here at Danfords on the Sound!" Nicole Ferrer has been an active member of the sales department at Danfords
on the Sound since 1998, previously serving as catering sales manager before
being promoted to director of sales & marketing. During her tenure
at the property, she has been the recipient of numerous awards under the
previous management company, including Director of Sales & Marketing
of the Year in 2004, the Andy Pucciarelli Director of Sales & Marketing
Award for 2004, the Director of Sales & Marketing Achievement Award
in 2002, and the Sales Associate of the Year Award for 2000.
