LLC (HTS) a leading executive search and consulting firm specializing in
the hospitality industry, today announced that Sanjay Bedi has joined
the firm as senior vice president.
In the new position, Bedi will provide executive search and operational consulting services to the firm's nationwide client base. "With the hotel industry in a rapid growth mode, finding qualified, experienced people is becoming increasingly difficult," said Frank Speranza, HTS CEO. "There are a significant number of real estate transactions taking place at record prices. As a result, owners are seeking exceptionally high levels of expertise in managers who can generate the necessary returns to cover the higher levels of debt service. "Sanjay has more than a decade of experience in operations, which is invaluable in helping identify the right person for each position. Because of his wide range of experience, he also has a great 'Rolodex' of qualified candidates," he said. Bedi previously was regional director of operations, responsible for
the management of 11 full-service and select-service hotels for Interstate
Hotels and Resorts, the nation's largest independent hotel management company.
As an operator, one of his hotels was named Franchise Hotel of the Year
by Marriott Corporation, and he received numerous awards for achieving
exceptional returns from Interstate.Bedi earned a Masters in Business Administration
from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate
work at St. Stephen's College at the University of Delhi.
