Santa Barbara, CA (June, 2006) InfoGenesis, one of the countrys leading hospitality technology companies, has appointed two new executives to its corporate team:  Trevor Roots has been named Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer and Mark Tapling as Chief Operating Officer.  The addition of these two executives complements an already strong executive team whose vision is to make guest experience management a reality in the hospitality and foodservice industries.

In his position, Roots will oversee the companys accounting, auditing, financial analysis and planning, along with tax and treasury matters.  Tapling will drive implementation of the companys guest experience management (GEM) vision in the marketplace.

We are excited to welcome both Trevor Roots and Mark Tapling to our executive team at InfoGenesis, said Terry Cunningham, President and CEO of InfoGenesis.  Their expertise and reputation in this business is first-rate and they will bring a whole new dimension to InfoGenesis as we continue to grow and expand our products and services.

Roots career representing technology companies in financial and operational capacities spans almost two decades.  Prior to joining InfoGenesis, he held several positions at Sierra Monolithics, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President.  At this Redondo Beach, CA-based company, he developed a new strategic plan, implemented new manufacturing and financial systems, re-focused the company on revenues and increased gross margins substantially.
