a premier resort property investor and developer based in Bangkok, Thailand
has recently acquired the Kamala Bay Terrace Resort in Phuket under a plan
to turn the prime beachfront property into a high-end 5-star boutique resort.
Kamala Bay Terrace Resort in Phuket is a beachfront property situated in Kamala Beach, an area which is home to upscale multi-million dollar villas and offers breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. With plans to expand the number of rooms to 200 over the next twelve months and add a spectacular 100m beachfront infinity sand bottom pool, Destination Properties has scheduled the first phase of the refurbishment to be completed by the end of 2006�and the expansion phase by early 2007. After renovation, guests will be able to choose from the resort�s fusion restaurant with a 180-degree view overlooking the entire Kamala Beach area or a fresh seafood beachside hip bar and restaurant or even an open-kitchen med-style restaurant. Rooms and suites will be of Thai contemporary design and range in size from 35 to 55 sq. m. with many having their own private plunge pools.
