 Benchmark Appoints Donna Miklich Director of Human Resources
for Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, June 9, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Donna Miklich as director of human resources at the Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center, located in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York.  Sean McLaughlin, Benchmark's general manager for the property, made the announcement.

Donna Miklich was previously assistant director of human resources at the landmark New York hotel, The Essex House, located in Manhattan.  She brings to her new position expertise gained at this signature property in recruitment, benefits administration, labor relations and facility management.  In 2004, she was named the Essex House Manager of the Year.

Ms. Miklich worked for eight years for Starwood Hotels, Inc., as director of human resources at the Sheraton JFK Hotel, as human resources manager for the Sheraton Hotel of New York and as housekeeping manager for the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers.  During this period, she was selected as a master trainer by Starwood to launch guest service pilot programs at the New York City hotels and as guest service contingency trainer for the Sheraton Providence Hotel in Rhode Island.  

Miklich attended St. John's University of Queens, New York, where she studied Business Administration. She is a graduate of Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York, with an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration.  She is an accredited Dale Carnegie graduate and has been awarded their Special Achievement Award.  Miklich resides in North Babylon, New York.
