The
Woodlands (Houston), Texas, June 15, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has announced the appointment of Diane E. Barr as director of training
for the leading hospitality management company. Eileen Santoli, vice
president of human resources, made the announcement.
"I am so pleased to welcome Diane as director of training for Benchmark Hospitality," said Ms. Santoli. "Her training expertise, diverse background and passion for her profession will be a tremendous resource to our growing company." Previous to her new appointment, Diane Barr was the director of training and development for Radisson Valley Forge Convention Plaza of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. In this role, she developed training curricula used in all areas of the property, which were in turn implemented company-wide. Ms. Barr has also served as training manager for Bahama Breeze Restaurants of Orlando, Florida. In addition to her training experience, earlier in her career she held the positions of controller, human resources manager and restaurant general manager, gaining broader exposure to various areas and disciplines within the hospitality industry. Diane Barr attended the University of Delaware. She is certified by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation as a ServSafe Food and ServSafe Alcohol Trainer. Ms. Barr and her family have relocated to The Woodlands.
