|ATLANTA (April 25, 2006) – The Omni Hotel at CNN Center today announced
two new additions to the hotel’s management team. Peter Cronin has joined
the hotel as director of sales, and Rosalyn Y. Smith has been named area
director of human resources.
As director of sales, Cronin is responsible for national accounts for the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. Cronin has worked in hospitality sales in Atlanta since 1994. Smith will oversee human resources needs for the downtown hotel’s growing team of 600 professionals.
“Peter brings more than 20 years of experience to our sales team, and he will be a great mentor for our sales staff,” said Gary Froeba, managing director of the Omni Hotel. “Peter has consistently surpassed his sales goals in past roles, and he is a great addition to our team.”

She was subsequently promoted to human resources director at the Omni Austin Southpark Hotel in May 2001 and human resources director at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Dallas in January 2004. Smith was most recently promoted to area director of human resources in June 2005. Smith earned a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and she earned her Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) certification.
