The La Quinta "Inn of the Year" Awarded to
Albuquerque West and Tampa South

DALLAS (April 13, 2006) – La Quinta announces the La Quinta Inn & Suites – Albuquerque West (NM) and the La Quinta Inn – Tampa South (FL) as the recipients of the Company’s 2005 Inn of the Year awards.  The award recognizes the top corporate-owned and franchise La Quinta-branded properties within the Company’s system of more than 500 hotels. Each property was recognized for the prestigious award for excelling in several categories, including revenue performance, overall quality control scores and guest satisfaction.

The 118-room, five-story La Quinta Inn & Suites – Albuquerque West is located just minutes from Albuquerque’s Old Town, the Aquarium, Botanical Gardens and the Zoo.  Serving leisure and business travelers alike, the hotel features meeting facilities, free high-speed Internet in all rooms, a fitness center and an outdoor heated pool and spa.  General Manager Michael Harris and his courteous staff provide guests with an exceptional experience from check-in to checkout.
