 Benchmark Hospitality International Introduces The Benchmark Conference Plan; 
Benchmark's Brand Promise Repositions the Complete Meeting Package

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, April 3, 2006 ... Benchmark Hospitality International, the leading hospitality management company in the United States with a specialty in group meetings, has announced the Benchmark Conference Plan, which is now the company's signature meeting product.  Sam Haigh, president and chief operating officer, made the announcement. 

"After 25 years as a leader in the operation of high end conference centers, hotels and resorts, Benchmark Hospitality operates more than 30 properties with several more currently under development," stated Mr. Haigh.  "We were one of the pioneers of the Complete Meeting Package.  Through the years, however, this product has come to mean different things to different hospitality companies, causing confusion in the marketplace."  

Haigh went on to say, "Our goal with the Benchmark Conference Plan is to ensure that our growing international base of customers and planners has a clear and consistent understanding of our brand promise to deliver exceptional high end hospitality and outstanding conference facilities and services."

The company developed the Benchmark Conference Plan in response.  "It's a product conference groups cannot buy at traditional resorts or hotels, or at traditional conference centers, for that matter," continued Haigh.  "The full service hospitality approach allows us to create additional excitement in the properties, build stronger service teams, generate higher revenues, and reinvest more capital back into the properties.  All of this makes for better venues for conference groups.  It also broadens the spectrum of conference users to include senior executive groups that require all the services, amenities, and special touches of a high end resort or hotel."
