 Brian Rosenberg Named Vice President of Sales and Marketing, 
The Garden City Hotel on Long Island

Previously the Vice President of Special Events for 14 years, Rosenberg now oversees sales, marketing, revenue management and corporate communications.

Focus on Strategic Planning, Integration & Technology 

Rosenberg is responsible for strategic planning along with formulating and implementing sales and marketing programs.  Under his leadership, the hotel�s sales and marketing team will ensure the integration of direct selling strategies, marketing approaches and web site development to optimize revenue generation for the independently owned and operated luxury hotel.
 
Rosenberg�s appointment marks a new phase of growth for Long Island�s leading luxury hotel property including several new projects planned for the next few years.  A priority is the introduction of new technology throughout the hotel�s operations to ensure that each guest has a memorable stay.  Rosenberg is spearheading the development of a database and Internet applications for one-to-one, personalized guest service and communications before, during and after a stay.  �To deliver the quality and value that our guests expect, having the right information in the hands of the right people at the right time is crucial,� states Rosenberg.  �The only way to ensure this is to harness knowledge through the use of today�s technology to meet our guests� needs.�

An Innovator for Over 20 Years

Rosenberg has an extensive background in consumer marketing, creating strategies and campaigns that have built the dining and entertainment venues at the hotel.  Rosenberg�s accomplishments include the progressive re-branding of the hotel�s nightclub, Posh Ultralounge; the introduction of Rein Bar & Bistro, the first truly refined Manhattan-style lounge on Long Island; the renovation of the hotel�s grand lobby; and management of the award-winning Polo Restaurant, rated #1 Sunday Brunch and #1 in service by Zagat.
 
As a force in the entertainment industry for over twenty years, Rosenberg has always maintained his original position as the hotel nightclub�s General Manager and promoter.  He has revitalized the venue in accordance with modern lounge trends by updating the decor, ambience and image to compete with the hottest clubs in the New York Metro area. Beginning as Club G in 1990, the club is now known as Posh Ultralounge, currently the hottest nightlife experience on Long Island. 

Rosenberg has a  presence in virtually every area of the entertainment industry. He has promoted every facet of music, from rock to hip-hop and dance, building a solid resume of success with iconic clubs such as Studio 54 and industry legends Bon Jovi, Madonna and LL Cool J.  As executive producer, host and creator of The Island Underground, a radio program syndicated by WLIR 107.1 FM and Party 105.3 FM, Rosenberg has been awarded has won numerous awards including �Best Mix Show of the Year� at the annual Winter Music Conference in South Beach, Florida.  Rosenberg�s annual holiday celebrations and high-profile A-list parties, featuring the casts of The Sopranos and Sex and The City, are the premier of Long Island�s nightlife calendar.
