Be Its Preferred PBX Vendor |
BROOMFIELD, COLO. March 21, 2006 Value Place, a rapidly growing,
economy-priced extended-stay chain based in Wichita, Kan., has named PhoneSuite
its PBX provider of choice for all of its company-owned properties.
PhoneSuite, based here, is a division of Call Management Products and has been supplying PBX systems to independent hotels and limited-service franchised properties since 1999. The PhoneSuite PBX, an economical but feature-rich system specifically designed for independent hotels and limited-service franchise properties with up to 220 rooms, has been installed in more than 1,000 properties nationwide. The Value Place brand was conceived by a group that worked with industry giant Jack DeBoer in creating the extended-stay concept with Residence Inns and, later, the Summerfield Suites and Candlewood Suites brands. Value Place currently has 14 franchised and company-owned properties operating in seven Midwestern and Southeastern states, with 12 more under construction. Another 108 franchised and company-owned Value Place hotels are under contract to be built, and 250 more are in the development pipeline. All Value Place hotels are new-construction properties with an average of 120 rooms each. Were extremely pleased to be teaming up with Value Place as its preferred PBX vendor, said PhoneSuite President Frank Melville. The chain is undergoing incredible growth, just as we are, and its a real honor to be associated with a legend like Jack DeBoer. We see this as a truly synergistic relationship that will last a long time and be successful for all parties involvedus, Value Place, and all of the chains franchisees and guests, present and future. According to Andrew Chaney, Senior Vice President for Value Place, price, value, multiple features and PhoneSuite PBXs reputation as having been designed specifically for lodging properties cinched the chains decision to name PhoneSuite as its preferred PBX vendor. Our primary concern was system cost, Chaney said. PhoneSuite was introduced to us as a low-cost product that was very stable and had the additional benefit of offering multiple features. What really convinced us, though, was the fact that the PhoneSuite PBX was developed specifically for hotel usethat wasnt the case with other vendors systems. Chaney said the PhoneSuite PBX will be installed in all company-owned properties. Franchisees will have the option of choosing another PBX vendor, but Chaney said theyll be required to present a solid, cost-based case in order to show that the alternative vendor will provide similar features at the same low cost. The PhoneSuite PBX features for Value Place include the following:
In addition, PhoneSuite is a just a great group to work with, Chaney said. Theyre very responsive to any requests we might have in terms of sales and service, and we have a close working relationship with both factory and field representatives. We were looking for quality, a great cost/value ratio, a system that would maximize both guest and staff satisfaction, and a company that would be there when we needed them to beand we feel we got all of that and more with PhoneSuite. For more information on the PhoneSuite PBX, please visit the PhoneSuite Web site at www.phonesuite.com.
