March
31, 2006 - RateTiger Allocator, the channel management solution by eRevMax
Technologies Inc., entered into the market place of online distribution
of hotel rooms with great speed. Since the launch 2 years ago of this time
saving application, they have managed to sign up many large chains as well
as small groups and independent hotels due to the apparent need to simplify
the maze of internet distribution and the extranets of 3rd party websites.
Chains and representation companies like Starwood, NH, Sol Melia, Thistle,
Golden Tulip and Design Hotels are either buying it or recommending it
to their hotels.
But not only on the hotel side of the industry has RateTiger become
an accepted household name. Online distributors and wholesalers are actually
cooperating with eRevMax as they believe in this model. For example Hotelbeds,
one of the largest wholesalers, has worked actively in integrating its
different distribution programs into the RateTiger platform.
Carlos Muñoz, Operations Director for Hotelbeds, comments on
the cooperation: "RateTiger represents great time savings in the loading
of rate and availability changes to our providers. It allows them to load
rate and availability changes for all their distribution channels at the
time from one single screen. The system gives the hoteliers tremendous
control over their pricing, automatically ensuring competitiveness and
rate parity at any given time.
Muñoz adds: "To be able to deal with rates and availability
in real time in a centralized environment is without any doubt a great
advantage for our hotel partners. With RateTiger we will increase the quality
of the service we are offering, and as such, by reducing their workload,
we are better prepared to meet with maximum effect the needs of our clients.
We are all in this industry together with one objective, creating
business. Through our partnership with Hotelbeds we have again made another
step towards a common goal, delivering more revenues to the hotels by allowing
them to offer up-to-date market pricing and availability to the end consumer.
says Patrick Landman of eRevMax.
