 Benchmark Appoints Stewart Weiner GM for Danfords on the Sound, 
Area Manager for Montauk Yacht Club & Marina

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, January 5, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Stewart Weiner as general manager for the 86-guestroom Danfords on the Sound, located in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, and area manager for the 107-guestroom Montauk Yacht Club & Marina of Montauk, Long Island, New York.  Ellen Sinclair, vice president for Benchmark, made the announcement.  Benchmark assumed management of both properties on December 12, 2005.  Both positions mark a reappointment for Mr. Weiner, who for eight years held the same roles at each property under previous management.  

"Stewart has successfully led the operational team at Danfords on the Sound over the past several years as well as supervising the team at Montauk Yacht Club & Marina," stated Ms. Sinclair.  "He has effectively enhanced results at both locations and built a solid team of professionals.  We welcome him to Benchmark."

During his tenure at Danfords on the Sound, the resort was honored with numerous awards, such as Property of the Year, Outstanding Food Service, Restaurant of the Year, and General Manager of the Year for Mr. Weiner for four years.  

A distinguished hotelier with over two and a half decades of leadership experience, Weiner previously held management positions at the Wyndham Wind Watch of Hauppauge, New York; the Hilton Huntington and Royce-Carlin hotels of Melville, New York; and the Parker Meridien and Helmsley Palace (now the New York Palace Hotel), both located in New York City.

A graduate of Delhi University located in Delhi, New York, Mr. Weiner resides in Mount Sinai, New York, with his family.
