C. Main was recently appointed as the general manager for the new Pan Pacific
Seattle, according to Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts North America.
The new hotel is scheduled to open in October 2006 at 2200, Vulcan Real
Estate's signature mixed-use development situated at the gateway to the
South Lake Union neighborhood.
Currently the general manager at The Roosevelt Hotel in Seattle, Main has strong Seattle ties and more than 20 years of experience managing hotels and other business ventures. She maintains an impressive record of high service standards and solid implementation of service training as well as repositioning and rebranding successes. Additionally, she has an outstanding reputation for her community involvement in both the nonprofit arena as well as the local business sector. The $200 million development is owned and developed by Vulcan Inc. operating officer at The Armco Group, a Seattle-based holding company comprised
of Serco Landscape Maintenance, U. S. Suites, Inc., Moco, Inc. and Epic
Asset Management. Main also held several hospitality management positions
with WestCoast Hospitality Corporation where she served the company for
more than 20 years at properties including Seattle's WestCoast Grand Hotel;
Seattle's Cavanaughs on Fifth Avenue; Kalispell, Montana's Cavanaughs at
Kalispell Center; and Spokane, Washington's Cavanaughs Inn at the Park.
