Driftwood Hospitality Management Reflags the Hyatt Regency Houston Airport
as the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport
.

Jupiter, Florida (January 2, 2006) Driftwood Hospitality Management recently announced a franchise agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation, the most recognized name in the global lodging industry. The Hyatt Regency Houston Airport property was officially reflagged a Doubletree Hotel on Thursday, November 17, 2005. Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport is located just one mile from the citys largest and most popular airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The hotel will begin a renovation program in April 2006 to enhance the banquet hall, restaurants, and all 314 guestrooms. Based on previous high levels of guest satisfaction, Doubletree has decided to retain all employees. The hotel has already incorporated the signature Doubletree amenities and services including the warm cookies at check-in and at night with the turndown service. In December 2005, all beds will be replaced by Doubletrees signature Sweet Dreams bedding package, which include a plush top-mattress that is triple sheeted with luxurious high thread-count linens, a down comforter, and an abundant supply of jumbo pillows.

We are delighted to be able to have Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport in our portfolio, said Carlos Rodriguez, partner and executive vice president of acquisitions/development for Driftwood. We have a strong relationship with Hilton Hotels with other properties in the state of Texas and South Florida.

When entering the Doubletree Hotel Houston, guests will notice the beautiful courtyard through the glass windows past the lobby, which is unique to the area and of airport hotels. The courtyard gives guests a feeling of nature surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. In addition, Doubletree Houston Intercontinental features Oakleys Restaurants with American cuisine, Derricks Saloon with Texan favorites, Perks Coffee and More serving freshly brewed Starbucks coffee, fully-equipped meeting facilities, an onsite convenience store and proximity to local area attractions.
