 Andres Araya Named Managing Director of Las Ventanas
al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

Los Cabos, Mexico, January 9, 2006 - Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager for ultra-luxury hotels and resorts, has appointed Andres Araya managing director of Ty Warner's internationally renowned Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort.  Araya assumed his new position on January 7, 2006.
 
Mr. Araya is an accomplished hotelier with worldwide experience in operating luxury properties. For the past two years, he has overseen the day-to-day operations of Las Ventanas as the resort manager.

Mr. Araya has 20 years of hospitality management and food and beverage experience at noted luxury hotels and resorts around the world. Prior to joining Las Ventanas in 2003, he was executive assistant manager /director of food & beverage at the Ajman Kempinski Hotel & Resort, United Arab Emirates.  Previously, he served as director of food & beverage at the Conrad Cairo Hotel & Casino, Cairo, Egypt; St. Regis Aspen, Aspen, Colorado; Sheraton Maria Isabel, Mexico City, D.F. and The Palace of the Lost City, Sun City, South Africa.
