international hotel management group being established. Now, at the
beginning of 2006, Vietnam has its own, industry-specific consulting group,
the TCK Group, which has been launched to serve the tourism boom that is
taking place in Indochina and facilitate investment into Vietnam.
An experienced team of hospitality & business consultants have been established in Vietnam. The new group is headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Karl Derek John, who is a hotelier and no stranger to Vietnam. He joined Hilton International in 1973 and first came to Vietnam in 1994, since 2002 he has been living in Hanoi. The TCK Group combines the skills of a hotelier, construction expert, project manager, mechanical engineer, certified public accountant, risk analysis expert, architect, management consultant, trainer, human resources specialist and business facilitator. The TCK Group�s immediate focus is Vietnam but it also has an eye on Laos and other areas in Asia. Currently, the TCK Group is focused on projects in Phu Quoc, Hanoi, Nha Trang and Danang. The TCK Team consists of a British Certified Public Accountant/Risk Analyst, an Australian Hotelier/Management Consultant, plus an Australian qualified Vietnamese Architect.
