 Rosa Lei Appointed Director of Sales and Marketing
for Raffles Beijing Hotel

SINGAPORE, 16 February 2006 – Raffles Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Rosa Lei as Director of Sales and Marketing of Raffles Beijing Hotel. 

Rosa brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked for close to 20 years with established hotel brands such as Hyatt, Inter-Continental, Shangri-La and Marco Polo.  Prior to joining Raffles Beijing Hotel, she was Director of Sales & Marketing of The  Marco Polo, Xiamen and Director of Conventions in Shangri-La’s Kerry Centre Hotel in  Beijing. Rosa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University  of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii, United States of America.  Rosa said, “I am honoured to be part of the legendary Raffles Beijing Hotel and look  forward to working with my team members to bring the hotel to a new level of luxury  and renown.” 

Raffles Beijing Hotel epitomizes the refinement of the Orient, having long stood as an icon of Beijing’s historical heritage. Ideally located on the crossroads of the famous Chang An Avenue, and district of Wangfujing, minutes away from the historical Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, the hotel has enjoyed over a century of glory as the city’s venue for significant political and cultural events. Raffles Beijing Hotel is scheduled to open in June 2006.
